DMC Company Member
DMC Membership is company-based and location-specific. Company membership includes branch offices in the same country, state, or province located within a 150-mile / 241-km radius of the primary location.
Member benefits are extended to all employees working at the destination.
DMCs must meet Key Requirements to qualify as a DMC Member. These standards help ensure that ADMEI members are operating as true DMCs and demonstrate a foundational level of experience, professionalism, and credibility in the DMC industry.
DMCs that do not meet the key requirements are classified as Provisional Members until all requirements are met. Provisional members receive all member benefits lexcept listing in public directory, and voting on bylaw changes and elections.
Applicants must provide:
- A valid business license
- A Certificate of Insurance (COI) demonstrating a minimum of $1 million USD (or equivalent) in general liability coverage.
Annual Dues - $945.00 USD
DMC Provisional Member
Provisional Membership is designed for companies that do not yet meet the requirements for DMC Company Membership. It provides a pathway to full membership by offering access to ADMEI education, best practices, resources, and professional networking while companies work toward meeting ADMEI's membership standards.
Associate Member
Associate Members are companies engaged in providing products and services to Destination Management Companies and the meetings, events, and services they implement. Examples of Associate Members include: Sales, marketing or legal consortia, associations, entertainment companies, production companies, teambuilding organizations, transportation companies, decor companies, venues, meeting supply companies, speakers, etc.
Associate membership is company-based and includes up to 4 representatives.
Associate member representatives may serve on ADMEI committees, and the ADMEI Board of Directors includes one seat that may be held by an Associate Member in good standing.
Annual Dues - $1250.00
Faculty Member
Faculty membership is open to individuals employed as faculty in graduate or undergraduate academic programs in Destination Management and having met one of the following requirements:
- Currently teaching at least two classes per semester
- Currently teaching at least one class per quarter
- Have taught at least four classes in the past academic year
Applicants must provide Class Schedule.
(DMC employees are not eligible.)
Annual Dues - $25.00
Student Member
All Student memberships fall into the July - June dues cycle.
Student membership is open to individuals enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate academic program directly related to Destination Management for at least six (6) quarter or semester hours. Verification of enrollment is required (class schedule). Full-time DMC employees are not eligible.
Applicant must provide verification of enrollment (class schedule).
