Rajeev Kohli

With over 31 years of industry experience, Rajeev Kohli is the Joint Managing Director of Creative Travel, one of India’s most prominent, respected, & independent DMCs. Rajeev has also contributed significantly to the development of the tourism industry at different levels, not only in India, but globally as well. He is the past President of the global DMC group, EUROMIC. Rajeev is also a member of the National Committee of Tourism of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). He was the first Asian to ever take the leadership position of Global President of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE). He has held senior leadership roles the Indian Association of Tour Operators, India Convention Promotion Bureau and the American Society of Travel Agents (India Chapter). In 2021, Rajeev was inducted into the Events Industry Council (EIC) “Hall of Leaders”, the highest accolade in the global events industry. He is the first Asian ever to be inducted. The Hall of Leaders award is the premier recognition programme in the MICE, hospitality & travel industry - our industry's "lifetime achievement award." The award recognises outstanding leaders who have undoubtedly shaped the industry. In 2017, Rajeev was recognised as a thought leader as one of the ‘25 Most Influential People in the global Incentive industry’. In 2015, Rajeev was awarded the prestigious ‘IMEX Academy Award’, a highly prestigious recognition for contribution to a chosen profession.

Rajeev also speaks at various industry forums around the world & often writes for trade publications, being commonly quoted as an expert source in the media. Rajeev has a Master’s in Business from the University of Southern California with specialisations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship Rajeev is professionally certified as a Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS), Certified Incentive Travel Professional (CITP) and Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP).
