Veronica Villegas

My experience in DMCs dates back many years, as I began my career in this field in 1999. After earning my college degree, I had the opportunity to work at travel agencies and hotels in both Mexico City and Cancun. When my first daughter was born (probably her gift to me!), I was fortunate to find my perfect professional niche in tourism and have remained there ever since.

In this business, you must love and be passionate about what you do; there’s no other way to achieve results. Over the years, I have successfully increased sales and revenue while gaining the trust of clients who become friends and vendors who turn into partners, working hand in hand.

I’ve had the opportunity to sell, plan, and supervise many successful programs, some more challenging than others, and some larger in scope. I am particularly proud of one of my most significant accomplishments: training and mentoring several professionals who embraced this profession after working with me. They learned to enjoy what they do and have gone on to become successful top executives.

Now, the challenge continues as I support two amazing destinations: Panama and Cancun/Riviera Maya!
